Our quest for worldwide fame has already started! Details of our exploits have appeared in the following places already...

Newspapers and Magazines

The Catenian Association magazine published an initial article in July 2005 and follow-up articles in January 2006 and June 2006.

The Surrey Advertiser published an article on 15th July 2005 which will also feature in the Guildford Times, the Cranleigh Times and the Godalming Times. Click here to view the article.

The Surrey Alumni Society have written about us in their most recent email newsletter and will also be tracking our progress in their magazine which is distributed to ex-University of Surrey students around the world.

The Robens Institute (one of our kind sponsors) are sending a press release to their trade magazines on our behalf.

While in Sofia we were interviewed by two Bulgarian newspapers, the English-language Sofia Echo and the Bulgarian 24 Hours. You can read the Sofia Echo one by clicking here, the 24 Hours one by clicking here (Bulgarian only but nice photos!).

In Egypt we were featured in the Sinai Net email newsletter. The diving communities in Sharm El Sheikh are getting behind the team in helping to raise funds for CARE. Click here to view the article. H2O Magazine also featured our visit in one of their upcoming events leaflets. Also an article appeared in one of the Egyptian national newspapers but we don't know much about it. Someone just handed us a clipping and asked if it was us!! Click here to view the article.

In Jordan we were interviewed by three national newspapers during our visit to the Arab Bridge Maritime office. You can see them here and here in Arabic but we never got the translations!

The News is one of Pakistan's national dailies and this article was written about our expedition and our meeting with the Karachi Offroaders Club. Our most prominent publicity to date, however, was courtesy of the Star Weekend newspaper who dedicated most of their front page and some of the inside pages of their 18th December 2005 edition to a story and photos about our expedition. Click to view the front page and inside pages.

Thanks to Earthbound Expeditions, we were interviewed by reporters from the Nepalese edition of Time Magazine in February 2006. Click here to view the article (in Nepali only for the moment, waiting translation).

In Thailand while we were guests of Scuba Cat we were interviewed by the Phuket Post. Click here to view the article.

We were also interviewed by television crews in Pakistan, India and Nepal but unfortunately have not been able to source copies of the interviews.
